Mafia Island is approximately 30 miles off the Tanzanian coast, about 30 minutes by air from Dar es Salaam and 45 minutes from the Selous Game Reserve and Zanzibar Island.
Mafia is reachable by light aircraft only. The resort is a 20-minute drive from Kilindoni, the main village, and airstrip. The transfer to and from the airport is included in the accommodation cost for non-resident guests.
Flights to and from Mafia Island can be provided by
